This dataset contains the top-down NOx emission data during Jan 1 - Mar 12, 2020, derived in the paper NOx emission reduction and recovery during COVID-19 in East China (https://www.mdpi.com/2073-4433/11/4/433). The top-down NOx emission changes can be used as a measure to assess the socioeconomic activity changes due to COVID-19 control measures.
This data is associated with the publication Quantifying the Influence of COVID-19 Emission Reductions on Climate. The data includes the monthly CO2 emissions used to drive CanESM5, and also the monthly CO2 concentrations, and Global Mean Screen Temperatures, resulting from the model simulations.

The World Air Quality Index project is providing a new dedicated data-set, updated 3 times a day, and covering about 380 major cities in the world, from January 2020 (data for major cities is based on the average (median) of several stations). The data set provides min, max, median and standard deviation for each of the air pollutant species (PM2.5, PM10, ozone etc.) as well as meteorological data.
